I am a qualified Foundation Phase Educator .I have of 9 years of Teaching experience. I received my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of South Africa ( UNISA) in 2017. I have also recently obtained my TESOL Certificate. I I have majority exeprience in teaching chidren 3-9 years of age. I have taught children up to 13 years of age. I teach basic English skills. I teach reading, writing, speaking and spelling of English words. I use Phonetical concepts to assist with learning English. I help students gain confidence in the English Language. I have been working in a school environment since 2012 and have taught various ages, cultures and religions. I am a passionate and dedicated teacher. I enjoy igniting a passion for learning in children. I have experience in teaching children how to read, write and spell all the basics of the English Language. I have also taught English as a second Language to many children. South Africa has 11 official languages and many of the children I have taught have come from a home where English has never been spoken before . I use various colorful posters to help children understand and have fun while learning a new language. I am consistently adapting the way I teach to help keep children engaged in what they are learning. The children in my lessons are always having fun and they are always sad when it is time to go home or when a session has finished. Children are amazing and they are always needing fun and encouraging ways to grasps new concepts and ideas.Children are the future of our world and it is important to invest in their education. I am a firm believer of adjusting my teacher style to suit the learner I am teaching or tutoring at the current time. I also believe that children must have a fun learning environment but an environment with strict boundaries . Consistency is key when working with children they must know what you expect from them as pupils. I have a strict yet loving classroom environment. I adapt my teaching style to suit the students personlity. I believe respect is a two way street and teachers and students must respect each other. My class is always filled with fun and games!
