My name is Lana, and my passion about languages and cultures has brought me to travel to 28 countries and live in 5 (Russia, USA, Spain, China and Sweden). I hold a bachelor's degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and a master's in English and Spanish as Foreign/Second Languages. I have worked online and offline, in private language schools and companies, taught one-on-one and group classes at all levels. My lessons focus on developing communication skills in the target language as I strongly believe that any language is, first and foremost, a communication tool. So if you have - an upcoming trip or relocation abroad, - job interview, immigration to a new country, or - need language skills at work, - write a CV/cover letter, I will be happy to help! If you are a beginner in a language, I will probably suggest using a course book for our lessons as at this level building a good solid foundation is important. If you already have some basics then using a course book is optional. Either way, I believe no learner is the same so in our first online session you are very welcome to share your expectations about how you see our lessons and what language outcomes you are looking to achieve.
