Hello, My name is Rica. I have been teaching English for many years(online and offline). I have handles thousands of students and I have an experience teaching students from different levels: pre-school, primary school, senior high-school, university students, and also professionals. I love teaching English because it is the main language that people should learn. I do love watching movies, reading books, hiking mountains, cooking, and baking. I also love traveling because you're not just enjoying, but you are also learning and meeting a lot of people and learning their culture. I wanna share my knowledge with every single student I will handle, and I assure you, that I am not just a dull teacher, I am making sure that my students are not just learning, but I wanna make sure they are also enjoying, I am very dedicated with this kind of job and I will make sure that my students will love every single lesson that we will have. Yes, I have a degree (Bachelor’s) and a TEFL certificate, but don’t let that fool you. I’m a “real” person and have many interests that we can discuss! My teaching style? Fun and interactive! I really like to teach English that is relevant to YOU and what you want to achieve. Yes, we will have fun during our lessons, but we will also focus on your goals. Some examples include small talk, conversational English, listening skills, idioms, or even humour. You are not just “another student” to me. As we work together to build your English competency, we will get to know each other more, making the lessons seem like they are about your life. I use supplementary materials and resources outside of our normal lessons. Some examples include WhatsApp, Line, WeChat, and homework about current events. Audio/Video Policy I do not do “audio only” calls. Your body language and facial expressions are important indicators of whether or not you understand the material we are discussing.
