Hi, I’m a qualified native speaker from the UK. Over the last twenty years, I’ve taught English to thousands of people from many different countries. If you only need conversation to become more fluent and confident, that’s fine. However, if you have specific goals, such as exam preparation, I have materials that will help you to make rapid progress. I am able to assess and plan for the needs of all abilities from beginner to proficiency. In addition to General English, I have taught a wide range of specialized courses, including Business English, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE/CAE/CPE, and IELTS. During lessons, I encourage my students to speak as much as possible. I can answer all your questions about grammar and vocabulary, and I always focus on improving pronunciation. Sounding more like a native speaker isn’t difficult if you get the right advice and lots of practice. Lessons should be enjoyable, so I try to have fun and engage with each student's personality and interests. Whether it’s a conversation to improve fluency and confidence or exam preparation, I know that happy, motivated learners are more likely to make progress and continue studying. My hobbies are playing the guitar and visiting new places. In every country that I’ve been to, I’ve learned to appreciate the local music and made an effort to learn the language.
