In my philosophy, I believe that learning any language is a long term process. Well, you might be able to cram in thousands of vocabularies for exams in a short timespan. The thing is that's only good for getting those certificates, which in many cases already fulfills the purpose. However, if your goal is to learn a language and let it become an everyday tool, there are certain steps you have to take, especially when your environment is foreign to that language.
