Falling in love with learning：學海無涯，學無止境 (English version below)

最近，有一位朋友問道：「有什麼是你覺得非做不可的？」非做不可嗎？我想了想，回答是「應該是學習吧，我沒法想像自己有一天會停止學習。」這答案好像很陳詞濫調，可是它是真實的。

我曾經很缺乏自信，也不善於表達自己，更別說與人溝通。有一天，在機緣巧合之下，在網路上看到一篇文章大概説到：「學習可以增強自信心和自尊心，有助於樹立目標感，並促進與他人的聯繫。 有持續學習的人表示有較強應付壓力的能力，也有更多的自信，希望和目標。」

在疫情期間，我接觸到Amazing Talker，平台讓我可以在安坐家中的前提下，仍可以繼續學習。原本對網上教學模式不太抱有信心，在上課後完全改觀。一對一網上教學不但價錢相宜，而且互動性很高，完全迎合到初學者的需要。上課時間也非常靈活，適合日程較繁忙和在學或在職人士呢～

現在我正在平台上學習法語，十分享受進修的過程：課前先進行預習、課後定時作複習。雖然步伐緩慢（笑），可是很有滿足感呢～最後呢，非常感謝我的法語老師Angela！老師總是在上課的時候鼓勵著我開口多練習，課後也會在LINE主動關心我的進度，會讓我發錄音給她，糾正我的錯處，會額外給我發複習題材。由最初的零基礎到現在能夠講一些法語短句，已經讓我有很大的成就感，也期待自己能夠繼續堅持，再學得更多！

最後總結，終身學習是「持續的，自願的，自我激勵的」對知識的追求。

Recently, a friend asked, "Is there anything that you cannot live without?" Erm, I thought about it, and the answer was, "Learning perhaps, I can't imagine that I would ever stop learning one day." This answer seems to be a cliché, but it is real.

I used to lack self-confidence, and I was not good at expressing myself, let alone communicating with others. One day, by chance, I saw an article on the Internet, it wrote, "Learning could potentially increase self-confidence and self-esteem, help establish a sense of purpose, and promote connection with others. Those who continue to learn are seen to have a stronger ability to cope with stress."

During the pandemic, I discovered Amazing Talker, and the platform allowed me to continue learning while staying at home. Initially, I didn't have much confidence and high hope in the online teaching model, but my assumption changed completely after the trial class. One-to-one online teaching is not only affordable, but also highly interactive, which fully caters to the needs of beginners. Class hours are also very flexible, suitable for people with busy schedules and those who are studying or working!

Now I am learning French on the platform, and I am enjoying the process of learning and developing a new skill: I am given notes prior to the class and regular review and feedback after class. Although my progress is relatively slow (laughs), but it is indeed very satisfying~ Lastly, I would like to thank my French teacher, Angela! She always encourages me to speak in class. After class, she will take the initiative to message me via LINE and follow up on my progress: reminding me to send her my practice recordings, correcting my mistakes, and providing me with revision materials. From having zero knowledge to now being able to speak a few short French sentences, I do have a great sense of accomplishment, and I hope I could continue to learn more and go further!

To sum up, lifelong learning is the "ongoing, voluntary, and self-motivated" pursuit of knowledge.
